I’m often asked for WordPress theme suggestions — there are probably thousands of themes available for WordPress, many of those don’t belong on your website. These are just a few theme designers or themes I’ve had experience with that I find worth suggesting.
I’m continually adding to this list as I find more themes worth recommending
Upstart Blogger has several, well designed, free themes available. This site uses one of them at the present with just a few tweaks to make it my own — just added!
Misty Look is a WordPress Themes by Sadish. It’s a one that gets a lot of use, but for good reason. And he has many more themes worth a look at wprocks.com — just updated!
Neoclassical is a very well done 3-column template with rotating header images
Regulus is a great theme with lots of options right our of the box with it’s administration panel that allows for a lot of customizing without touching any code
Brian Gardner’s themes are top notch. His paid themes are very good but for those on a budget his free themes are a great (this site is currently using Brian’s Blue Zinfandel WordPress Theme)
Nathan Rice’s ElegantBlue is a very solid choice.
WPDesigner.com another great theme resource - there are many high quality themes here to choose from
Josh Sowin’s Blueprint theme is very well done
Copyblogger is a very good theme
Three very good themes from Jim Mitchell
Cutline is another good theme - one of my favorite to customize (I’m using it here on my dev site)
